Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Butter Goods was founded in 2008 by friends Garth Mariano and Matt Evans. Mariano's deep roots in Perth's skateboarding scene and Evans' design expertise coalesced to create a brand inspired by skate culture and music.

Collaborating with like-minded brands, artists, and skateboarders, Butter Goods has crafted limited-edition collections, partnering with brands such as Nike SB, HUF, and DC, as well as artists like Kevin Lyons and Arswandaru Cahyo, and Butter team rider Philly Santosuosso.
